Project

Ngurunit Town Water Treatment & Automated Water Kiosk Project – Kenya

Installation of a water treatment system and automated water kiosk designed to improve access to safe, reliable and conveniently dispensed drinking water for the local community.

Scope of Work

Water Treatment System
A dedicated water treatment system was installed to improve water quality and make the available water safer and more suitable for community use. Proper treatment helps reduce contaminants and supports access to cleaner drinking water.

Automated Water Kiosk
The project incorporates an automated water dispensing kiosk that allows community members to access treated water in a controlled and convenient way. Automated water kiosks can improve accountability, reduce wastage and simplify water distribution.

Improved Access to Safe Water
The system provides a more reliable point of access to treated water for households and other users within Ngurunit, helping address the challenge of safe water availability in dry and water-stressed areas of Kenya.

Efficient Water Management
By combining water treatment with automated dispensing, the project supports better management of available water resources while improving the consistency and efficiency of water supply to the community.

Supporting Sustainable Community Water Supply
Projects such as the Ngurunit Town Water Project demonstrate how water treatment technology, automation and well-planned water infrastructure can provide practical solutions for communities across Kenya, particularly in arid and semi-arid regions.
